IMDS provides detailed searches on stored experimental descriptions and raw microarray data. Corresponding normalized data and image files from microarray experiments can also be retrieved by the IMDS search engine. Microarray data and experimental protocols are released to the public upon publication or by the decision of the principal investigator. Access to non-public data is limited to authorized NSF 2010 investigators participating in the research project Arabidopsis Pathogenomics and their collaborators.
